Background info on this artwork: This piece was completed the day we launched on our inaugural Dirty Devil trip. I awoke early, made coffee, and wandered around to get a feel for what we were about to begin. I found a lot of cold mud. I found myself slipping whilst sipping. The sun lit up the down canyon wall and turned it creamy white. Next to illuminate was the scrubby slope in the foreground of this piece.
