Background info on this artwork: After floating for a few days, the time was ripe to stretch my legs and get out of the river corridor proper. I walked down to a major side drainage, walked up it a bit and wasn't totally satisfied. I'm a snob, I know. So I looked around, saw a side draw that seemed like it would go, and scrambled my way up it. The calling card of This Probably Goes is fresh(ish) bighorn poop. And fresh(ish) tracks. This usually means it won't necessarily be a breeze, but there is some way for a fairly agile biped to get out. This first part of the hike was relatively straightforward, actually. The real trick was getting back down, a section of which is featured in this drawing. Just after this part, I had squeeze my way down a vertical crack that I was pretty sure would not eat me forever. It didn't eat me. But it scratched my sunglasses and tore my raincoat.
